IT PA discussion relay

Privacy policy

This tool is operated for its account owner's personal workflow. It is not a public account-registration service.

Google access and use

The tool requests Google Drive read-only access and Gmail permission to send email. These Google permissions cover the authorized account; the receiver restricts processing to its configured folder and currently accessible descendants. It reads file ancestry and relevant comments or replies to validate events and suppress its own marked replies. It does not modify Drive files or discussions.

What is stored and sent

Google Workspace Events sends file, comment and reply identifiers through Google Cloud Pub/Sub. The receiver sends these identifiers, event identifiers and a deduplication key to the owner's own Gmail address. It does not include private comment text, document content, titles or author details in notification emails.

Comment content is used transiently in memory. The receiver stores delivery hashes, processing states and health timestamps in its persistent database. Protected credentials on the owner's server enable authorized Google API calls. Runtime logs contain processing statuses rather than discussion content or credentials.

Providers and retention

Google provides Drive, Gmail, Workspace Events, Pub/Sub and the server infrastructure. Pub/Sub messages are retained for up to seven days; acknowledged messages are not retained by this subscription. Emails remain in the owner's Gmail until removed there. Local delivery state remains until the owner removes or changes the installation. Google data is used only for this workflow, not for advertising, sale, or model training by this receiver.

A separately connected assistant is governed by its own service and connector settings; notification delivery does not authorize it to act on arbitrary text.

Control and contact

The owner can revoke this application's Google access in Google Account connections and stop the receiver at any time. Revocation does not automatically remove existing emails or local delivery records. For questions, use the application's support address shown on Google's consent screen.

The application's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
